Information in English about Killfrågor.se

Killfrågor.se (direct translation: boys questions/issues) is an online forum where young boys and teenagers can chat and e-mail anonymously with adult volunteers about anything that’s on their mind. Any thoughts or feelings, high or low, can be expressed in the chat rooms.

Killfrågor.se aims to create public awareness and knowledge about problems and challenges that boys face in today’s gendered society, with gender equality as a long-term vision.

The project is headed by the organization Men for Gender Equality Sweden (http://www.mfj.se) and financed by external funds and sponsorships. The Swedish Inheritance Fund (http://www.arvsfonden.se) funded the development of the forum until July 2011. Between August 2011 and January 2012, Killfrågor.se receives finance by Childhood Foundation (http://childhood.se/) for the project "Reaching out to boys about sexual abuse".
